Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi visits Azeem Bagh district Kohat to condoles the tragic death of Ex-Federal Minister late Abbas Afridi.

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has visited Azeem Bagh Kohat on Wednesday to condole the sad demise of the former Senator and Federal Minister late Abbas Afridi with his father former Senator Shamim Afridi and other members of the bereaved family. The Party’s Central Secretary General Nayyar Bukhari, Provincial General Secretary Mian Khan and other party office bearers were also with the governor. Faisal Karim Kundi while expressing his heartfelt sympathies to Shamim Afridi and other relatives, prayed Allah Almighty to give a high place to late Abbas Afridi in Jannat-ul-Firdos and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this great tragedy and irreparable loss with patience and fortitude.

Talking to media on this occasion, the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said, indeed this incident is a great tragedy over which the entire province, especially the people of Kohat, are very sad. He said that in this hour of grief and sorrow, we all are with the bereaved family and will extend all possible support in the transparent investigation of the incident. He said that the affected family has the right to get justice and it should be done at all costs. The Governor said, as and when this incident occurred in the evening, he promptly contacted the administration in this regard and directed to extend all possible help. He clarified that the party will decide its course of action after the inquiry report. He said that this is not the time to make emotional statements but to adopt a serious and responsible attitude, so until the inquiry is complete, any kind of speculation should be avoided. 

Later, the Governor also went to Ghulam Banda, where he condoled the death of the late Muhammad Javed Iqbal son of Khan Syed, who died in the same tragedy, and offered Fateha for the departed soul.
