ISLAMABAD, Septembr 15, 2026:
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday reaffirmed the federal government's commitment to the development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the welfare of its people during a meeting with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at the Prime Minister's House.
The two leaders held a detailed discussion on the overall political situation in the province, law and order, and matters of mutual interest.
The Prime Minister reiterated that the federal government would continue working for the development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the well-being of its people.
Both sides also emphasized the need for greater coordination between the federation and the province to address public issues effectively and ensure better governance.
Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam and the Prime Minister's Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah also attended the meeting.
